Oolong tea, sometimes known as “the champagne of teas” because of its distinctive taste, is one of the most popular teas in Asia. Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea and not as bitter as the Green tea. Oolong, like Green tea, has many beneficial effects to our body, although to a lesser degree. Oolong is a semi-fermented tea and because of this, many of the active ingredients found in Green tea are not to be found in oolong tea as they are lost through fermentation.
