Shrimp Paste (gapee, kapi or gkabpi in Thai) is made from ground preserved tiny shrimps. Use shrimp paste to make authentic homemade curry paste or add a tiny bit to stir fry to round out the flavor of your Thai dish.

Shrimp paste or shrimp sauce is a fermented condiment commonly used in Southeast Asian, Northeastern South Asian and Southern Chinese cuisines. Can be mixed with many types of chilli pastes, Thai curry paste such as sour curry (kaeng som).

Storage: Keep in a cool and dry place. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 30 days.
